A personal highlight for Claudia and myself in 2012 was the dive cruise on
PINDITO from Ambon to Sorong last December. We had heard so much about Raja Ampat Diving and the Pindito that it was overdue to see for ourselves.
For those interested, find a more detailed report on our Diversion (B)log. For those who don't have time to read it, let me give you a quick run down:
Pindito with its 20 years of experience in Indonesia is still an outstanding operation in that part of the world. The coral reefs are so laden with living “stuff”, the services of Pinditos expert dive guides are essential to help you spot the individual critters. With three Zodiacs they make sure that you can enjoy the diving in small groups.
The various regional marine parks throughout Raja Ampat are already showing an improvement for the variety and number of fish life that can be seen. In terms of life variety and colours Raja Ampat is the centre of the tropical marine biodiversity.
Claudia and I took a couple of snaps and video clips with our compact camera and although they cannot compete with the results that our professional friends deliver, they give a good impression of
what to expect.
We are so excited about
PINDITO that we want you to experience it yourself. We decided to offer all our readers who want to book on Pindito in 2012 or 2013 an exclusive discount of USD 100.00, must be booked latest by 29th February 12. Please mention this offer in your email.
