The Alam Anda Resort is far from any tourist centres on the north coast of Bali near the small town of Sembirenteng. The hotel has its own 300 meter (1000 ft) long beach, which consists mostly of black pebbles. There is a small house reef, just off the beach. The journey by car from Denpasar airport takes about three hours. During this journey though Bali you will be impressed by the beauty of the island. There are a variety of guest room categories to choose from. The villas and bungalows have all different names.

Losmen Those two simple but pretty rooms offer everything you need to stay overnight. The living space including the small terrace is 25 m². The rooms are furnished in the typical Balinese style (teakwood furniture). The furniture consists of a double bed, fan and air conditioning, a desk with chair and a mini bar. The bathroom with shower (hot and cold water) and western toilet measures approx. 6 m².

Seaview Bungalow Nine bungalows - all with sea view. Generous spaced out, without any frills, therefore purely natural. Built from palm wood, mahogany and bamboo and thatched with the traditional Alang Alang grass, even the varnish is natural. 40 m² of comfort, built on stilts. The combined living room/bedroom is exclusively furnished with bamboo and the marble bathroom. The rooms dispose of a mini-bar as well and the room temperature is controllable via the aircondition. The 2m x 2m secluded cushioned cuddle area on the veranda is a dream invitation and not just for honeymooners.

Deluxe Garden Bungalow Twelve bungalows are spaciously imbedded into a more than 5.000 m² tropical garden with ponds, fountains and as you expect in Bali statues of the various gods. Shady coconut palm trees and other trees as well as several "bale" (roofed relaxation areas) turn the garden into a real wellness area. The luxurious bungalows (50 m²) have been built from high-quality materials like palm wood, mahogany, bamboo and bricks. They are also thatched with Alang Alang grass. All bungalows have a combined living room/bed room, mini-bar and a bathroom with shower/toilet. Room temperature is adjustable anytime by air conditioning. The three rearmost bungalows (60 m²) have an additional bed couch for a third person and they are shaped more spaciously. Of course every bungalow has its own private veranda which invites you to relax.

Double bungalow Ambu Ambu This air conditioned double bungalow is directly by the sea, 20 meter (65 ft) away from the water's edge. All alone in the resorts palm gardens, close to the almost empty beach. Grounds: 900m², living area approx. 65m² with two bedrooms for four people. Two open shower rooms with warm water, living room opening directly to the sea, garden lounges, and fridge. Each room has its own open bathroom with warm water shower. The whole house is furnished with rattan furniture: cupboards, sideboards, armchairs and beds with mosquito nets. The walls are decorated with Balinese paintings and carvings.

In the "Master Bed Room" there is a huge double bed. The other room can be used as a bedroom, living room or study and disposes of a double bed as well. A small room respectively connects or divides these two rooms. In here there is in addition to a further cupboard a small pantry with sink and a fridge. There are four deckchairs in the garden and, as you would expect in paradise, also one hammock. The living/dining room is positioned on the side of the building towards the sea. It is open on three sides and contains a marble/rattan dining table and a 2m x 2m cushioned cuddle area.

Villas Bahari Both single villas were completely re-constructed and are now available for guests. They are allocated at the west end of the Alam Anda premises, which can truly be called as one of the top locations of the Resort. They are closely located to the seafront with direct access to the beach. Each of them owns a private pool, a lush garden and sun bathing space at the beach. The villas provide two bedrooms with a bathroom each. The large and roofed verandas surprise with the impression of an open air living room. Both villas are suitable for 2-4 guests. They will pamper the guests with a unique experience of well-being, residing and holiday-feeling.

Luxusvilla Lumba Lumba This is luxury pure - and not just for honeymooners. The detached honeymoon villa, is situated on its own at the east end of the Alam Anda property. It is only 20m (65 ft) away from the beach with 25m (80 ft) private shoreline and cuddle area. Enclosed grounds are approx. 1100 m², living area approx. 110 m², pavilion/terrace, private swimming pool with garden furniture and deckchairs, four-poster bed with sea view.

The villa has a second room for two more people, two open bathrooms, small kitchen, CD player and safe. Of course, both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. On request included in the price: Breakfast served daily in the villa.

Villa Purnama This newly-built villa truly deserves its? name. Purnama means ?full moon?, somewhat unusual, but exactly what they were hoping to achieve when designing this villa. The 160sqm living area is divided into an approximately 50 m² large, open plan living room, decorated with a combination of natural rock, indigenous wood, as well as rattan. From here, one has direct access to 200sqm of truly private garden.

Similarly, 2 of the 3 bedrooms have direct access onto the garden, and naturally all feature en-suite bathrooms. Hot water and air-conditioning is provided of course, as well as satellite connection to the living room TV, with a reception of up to 50 various TV programmes. This entertainment system is installed with DVD Dolby Surround Sound. They will gladly prepare a nutritious breakfast or sumptuous private dinner for you on request, in your villas? built-in kitchen. A dining area, seating up to 6 people is located almost directly next to the natural rock waterfall and garden pond.

Like every true villa, Purnama has its own pool (15 m²) inviting for a private swim in one of the garden corners. Peaceful, yet also centrally located, the villa is only a few metres from our Wellness Centre, only 1 minute by foot to the diving centre, and even closer to the beach, common pool or restaurant. This villa is a real jewel at the Alam Anda.

The resort is a little paradise, ideal for anyone looking for a very special place to relax and to dive. We recommend if there are four of you and are travelling with children, or even if you want to treat yourself something very special, book the Villa Lumba Lumba, absolutely beautiful with a private pool.
