Yap Pacific Dive Resort (formerly Trader's Ridge) is located amongst the surrounding tropical backdrop of Colonia, Yap's capital, overlooking Chamarro Bay. Here you can enjoy the world-class scuba diving and a host of environmentally friendly activities. The elegance and grace of this resort takes guests back to Yap's Victorian colonial era, but with all of today's creature comforts!

This intimate retreat of 20 rooms and 2 Grand Suites is styled in unique 1880's Victorian architecture offering all the amenities of a 5 Star hotel. The lush gardens that surround the resort and Yap's only freshwater swimming pool create a perfect tropical setting.

All rooms have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, mini bar, TV/VCR, IDD telephone, hardwood floors and French doors that open onto a patio or veranda. All rooms have the same basic floor plan and differ by location.

6 Patio rooms are located on the ground floor that open onto a private patio surrounded by a garden and hedge.

6 Veranda Ridge rooms are located on the second floor with a veranda overlooking the quiet lane on which the resort is located along with a tropical view.

8 Veranda Ocean rooms are located on the first and second floors overlooking the swimming pool with breathtaking views of Chamarro Bay and the ocean.

2 Grand Suites with almost 800 square feet of living space set a new standard for luxury in Micronesia. These suites include spacious living room, master bedroom and dressing area and two bathrooms. Hand crafted furniture and original artwork accent the hardwood floors providing a warm and luxurious atmosphere.

The restaurant "La Cucina" is next to the Traders Lounge the finest restaurant on the island, spezialising in Italian, fish and meat dishes. With a fabulous ambience and location, this restaurant combines elegance and relaxation to insure guests have the best possible dining experience.

The "Traders Lounge & Grill" offers a relaxed atmosphere for locals and tourists alike. Here you can enjoy comfortable lounges facing the sea whilst sipping on a cocktail and enjoying amazing dishes.

Breakfasts and afternoon teas can be enjoyed at the Poolside Cafe.
