The modern ship offers space for max. 26 guests. Nautilus Explorer offers exteted excursions to Socorro and Guadalupe. Some of the very best diving availble in Mexico. They have exciting Great White Shark cage diving in Guadalupe during the best season for encounters.

Great White Shark excursions are available from August to late October at Guadalupe Island in Mexico. The excursions are starting and finishing in the USA, from/to San Diego. Every year in May a combination cruise to the Channel Islands off California is scheduled.

Socorro is on the schedule from November until late May each year.

Nautilus Explorer has space for up to 26 guests.

There are 4 suites, all located on the upper deck: 3 Superior Suites with big windows, a wardrobe, desk and outside doors. 1 Premium Suite with big windows, separate bedroom and sitting area, a wardrobe, coffee table and a bathroom including bath tub. There is central air conditioning for all suites.

The lower deck has 9 cabins, all centrally air conditioned:
There are 8 staterooms (twin share) with side by side beds, private heads with separate shower stall. On this level you find as well 1 stateroom (triple occupancy) with 3 beds (2 beds side by side and one bunk), private heads with separate shower stall. Each bed has a curtain for privacy and a small reading light.

The 40-meter (130 ft) long Nautilus Explorer is modern and comfortable. The vessel has a spacious air-conditioned lounge with TV/DVD and a separate dining area for guests to relax and meet. It also has a small sun deck with a Jacuzzi and a large dive deck.

Several sea kayaks are available to guests free of charge. The electronic equipment is state-of-the-art and safety standards on board meet the extremely strict U.S. standards. Security is taken very seriously on the ship and all guests must attend a fire drill.

The Sea of Cortez is excellent for experiences the beautiful, colorful fish and large schools of fish as well as superb sea lion encounters at Los Islotes. Pelagic encounters are not very common in ths area.

Around Socorro Island, Manta encounters are almost certain. This is a great big fish place. The Socorro Islands are accessible only by liveaboards. The dive sites of the islands are not beginner-friendly. A dive cruise to Socorro should be booked by experienced divers only who are confident with their buoyancy skills as it is important to stay within sight of the topography at all times.

Five cages are available for the great white sharks excursions in Guadalupe. Divers can expect to spend plenty of time in the cages. Non-divers can also participate on these tours. Air is supplied through long hoses from the main vessel. They have one cage which they submerge to 13 meters (42 ft), this one is only available for experienced certified divers 18 years and over. The cage is lowered pretty quickly and divers should be able to equalize without problems.

Diving is done from the vessel's two dive tenders. Life jackets must be worn by all passengers during trips on the tenders.

Two to three dives are offered per day, depending on the daily dive activities and the activities ashore. The dives are offered at set times at designated dive sites. After a detailed briefing, divers can dive independently with their buddies.
