Ghazala Voyager is under the management of the Sinai Divers. The vessel usually offers one-week trips from Marsa Alam to the best dive sites in the northern Red Sea. Excursions to the Brother Islands and the northern Red Sea are also part of the program.
Features and accommodation The Ghazala Voyager is 28m (91 ft) long and features eight double cabins all with private bathrooms and air conditioning. A beautiful saloon and spacious sun decks await the guest.
Diving takes place from the large dive deck and its dive platform. The dive deck features all what photographers need: Charging stations, camera tables and fresh water basin for rinsing of cameras. A dive dinghy is available and some dives are done from the dinghy. 24 hours electricity is available on board. Electronic equipment and safety gear are up to date with international standards. The three to four dives daily offered either off the Ghazala Voyager or from the dinghy. Divers should be more experienced, as there can be strong currents in some dive areas.
Dive areas The underwater world of the southern Red Sea is characterized by beautiful coral gardens and steep walls with a massive variety of fish. All kinds of tropical marine animals are regularly sighted here.
Diving is offered at the reefs of the northern part of the Red Sea, which are quickly to reach from Sharm el Sheikh, where the cruises start. Wreck dives at the Thistlegorm and Dunraven are on the schedule, so are the wrecks at Abu Nuhas. The Ras Mohammed National Park is on the agenda as well with the highlight of diving at Shark Reef. The Thistlegorm is a must dive, you cannot miss this one! She holds plenty cargo like motorcycles, locomotives and war goods - a really unique dive. The wrecks of Abu Shaab Nuhas are also worth a visit. Dives in the Tiran Strait complete the tours in the north. We think... Ghazala Voyager is a comfortable and very well maintained liveaboard.
