The dive centre is located directly on the beach and has been designed specifically for the needs of divers. Apart from a small breakfast buffet, you can get snacks between dives at the dive centre?s own snack bar. The PADI Dive Centre is equipped with modern equipment and there is plenty rental dive gear available. They have 12-liter tanks with INT and DIN valves for diving. There is also a modern Nitrox facility. The closest decompression chamber is in Batangas, approximately 40 minutes by boat. The ABWonderdive is under professional guidance of Alice and Bjørn Askholm.
Dive Center and Service
Four fast, spacious dive boats are used to visit the dive sites that are about 2 to 20 minutes away. Because of the short distance to the dive sites multiple trips daily are offered daily. The house reef right in front of the dive centre has excellent macro life, here you can also see mandarin fish. Night and day dives are both exciting at the house reef. Regular half day trips are offered to Verde Island and Chicken Feather Island, if divers wish to visit them. Each diver must have their own computer!
Dive area
A great variety of diving is offered. More than 40 dive sites that are accessible by short boat trips, ranging from very easy dives to current dives. Now the reefs are well protected, supported by the local dive operators. Coral and fish life continue to get better and give an insight of the biodiversity of Philippine marine life.
Highlights are the dive sites around Verde Island with beautifully overgrown reefs, rich fish life and strong currents. The Canyons with strong currents, great coral growth and an abundance of fish and Nudibranch City with its incredible variety of sea slugs are highlights as well. Not to forget Sabang Bay which is a great place for macro photography with pygmy seahorses, frog fish, nudibranches, scorpion fish and much more. Diving is possible all year round with good visibility most of the time and moderate currents.
