The family-run Truk Stop Hotel & Dive Center is a PADI Resort offering a variety of comfortable accommodation plus a full service dive center for both the recreational and technical diver. It is located near the center of Weno, the capital of Chuuk, within easy walking distance of stores, markets and all main activities on Weno Island.

Truk Stop Hotel offers a total of 23 guest rooms consisting of 13 standard deluxe rooms, 6 ocean view rooms plus 2 executive rooms and 2 presidential suites. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans, private balconies, refrigerators, telephone service, and full-colour cable television with CNN and ESPN International and DVD player.
Facilities
The Truk Stop Hotel offers a full line of amenities including a restaurant where guests can choose to dine inside in air-conditioned comfort or take their meals outside on the patio next to the world famous Truk Lagoon. The hotel also features the Hard Wreck Café & Bar, which is often frequented by plenty of colourful characters and considered by virtually anyone who's been to Chuuk to be the island's premier "watering hole". An onsite bakery will satisfy even the sweetest tooth. The Body Shop offers rejuvenating therapeutic massages after a long day of diving. Late-model car rentals & local tour activities can be arranged through reception.

Chuuk has a living culture plus a rich World War II history that is very visible today and well worth seeing. The Truk Stop Hotel offers a land tour of Weno Island that lasts about 4 hours and winds its way slowly through the past, the present, and gives just the slightest glimpse of the future. The tour gives the visitor an excellent view of the town, stores and businesses, land, housing and structures, agriculture, its people, and the influence of past influences that impacted their lives.
Places of interest on the island include the Chuuk Ethnographic Exhibition Centre, Nefo Cave, Mt Tonachou, Xavier High School & the Japanese Lighthouse.
Chuuk also has much to offer through its own cultural history and visitors can view Mortlockese tapuanu masks, fenai love sticks, war clubs, natural fiber lava lavas, and other culturally significant items.
