Ocean Hunter III is the latest and most luxurious addition to the Ocean Hunter Fleet in Palau. The boat represents 25 years of knowledge in the liveaboard industry and like all of their liveaboards was designed by divers for divers. This family-run business offers you personalised service and the knowledge and hospitality of a very experienced local crew. Ocean Hunter liveaboards are owned and run by Tova and Navot Bornovski. They are Palau's pioneers in scuba diving, the couple also owns and runs the Fish'n Fins dive center in Palau.

The Ocean Hunter III has a large main deck with saloon, galley and big dive deck. Guest cabins are located upstairs and downstairs from here; the spacious sundeck leaves plenty of space to relax between dives. The top deck also features 2 Jacuzzis.

Ocean Hunter III has 2 standard cabins (cabins 2 & 5), 4 deluxe cabins (cabins 3, 4, 6 & 9) and 2 master staterooms (cabins 7 & 8) all with private bathroom and air-conditioning. The vessel accommodates up to 16 guests with personal attention and plenty of space. There is a large dining room and a comfortable lounge with sofas and an entertainment system.

The delicious gourmet menu served on Ocean Hunter vessels has been designed by the owners, specifically with divers in mind. The menu incorporates international cuisines such as Palauan, Italian, Mediterranean, French and Japanese and plenty more.

The Ocean Hunter III crew will use their knowledge and experience to bring you to the right dive site at the right moment. Diving off Ocean Hunter means you get personal attention, reefs without a crowd, easy entry into the water and a maximum bottom time! After giving you a briefing at least one dive master will enter the water with you on every dive to guide, guard and assist. Night dives are offered every night.

All levels of divers, from experienced to beginner, are welcome. Experienced instructors and dive masters will give you all the assistance and guidance you need. When your dive is over, you can climb back onboard and take a warm, freshwater shower right on the spacious dive deck before being offered a delicious snack such as cake or a fresh fruit smoothie.

The dive tender is a purpose-built 10.5m (35ft) rigid hull boat designed specifically for divers, with ample room and dry storage areas. The dive tender is always ready to bring you to the dive sites when weather conditions require it. It is equipped with VHF marine radio and twin 225 HP Yamaha four stroke engines.

Ocean Hunter III is designed for professional underwater photography, TV and Film production, with a sizeable working area, 110, 220 and 415 volt electrical outlets and extra storage space. It also offers powerful PC's for movie and video editing.

Technical diving support: They have 2 Bauer Compressors on board, Nitrox and Trimix and even Rebreather are available for those who have the appropriate certifications. Nitrox certification courses are available onboard.

Ocean Hunter III will be travelling to all the well known spots and more! Not only will you be diving all the world-famous spots of Palau such as the fabled Blue Corner, Big Drop Off or Ulong Channel, you will also be taken to beautiful jellyfish lake and caves and have the opportunity to explore several WWII wrecks. Enjoy Palau's best diving - the crown jewel of Micronesia, and among the top dive sites in the world for their unrivalled marine biodiversity and pristine diving.

The beauty of liveaboard diving around Palau is that distances between dive sites are very short compared to some other destinations. This allows the itinerary to be very flexible as the only restrictions are tidal patterns, moon cycles and the general weather conditions. Ocean Hunter offers 7 day and extended 10 day cruises.

You can dive as much as you like or take it easy and explore some of the beautiful lagoons and caves in the Rock Islands area. With no more than 16 guests on board your personal wishes and interests will be catered for. Of course the crew also has a number of dive sites that they want to show you!
