Villa Markisa is a small and individual dive resort on the north east coast of Bali, nestled at the foot of Bali's most famous volcano "Gunung Agung". The resort is located right on the beach, close to Tulamben. The transfer by minibus from Denpasar airport to Villa Markisa takes about 2.5 hours.
Just minutes away by high speed tender boat, divers can explore Bali's most famous dive site, the USS Liberty shipwreck. For divers who love critters, "Seraya Secrets" is located directly in front of the resort's beach. Facilities The dive resort has 9 rooms for up to 18 guests. There are 3 free standing deluxe bungalows with the typical nice balinese outdoor bathrooms. Other accommodation options are their 2 villas. The "Villa Sonea" for example has 2 spacious double bedrooms which share a large living area.
The "Villa Markisa" has the two most comfortable master bedrooms with a large terrace, Jacuzzi and spacious bathroom. On the lower level of the Villa Markisa are a deluxe and a standard room. All deluxe and villa rooms are equipped with air conditioning, safe, minibar, water kettle and a private terrace or balcony with sea view. Only the standard room comes without terrace and sea views. The restaurant offers delicious Indonesian cuisine, international and vegetarian dishes. The garden features a freshwater pool with Jacuzzi. A small spa offers classical and traditional Balinese massages. Land excursions can be arranged at the resorts reception.
Staying Connected Villa Markisa has stable mobile phone reception. Prepaid local Sim cards are available. The resort sells prepaid satellite connection to guests.
