The Sea Serpent fleet started their operation with the Sea Serpent which is their first ship. She is a truly luxury vessels and although it's 8 years old, you wouldn't necessarily be able to tell its age. Thanks to thorough and regular maintenance it's kept in very good condition. The Sea Serpent can compete well with any of the "younger generation" vessels of its kind in the Red Sea.

She runs year-round dive trips to the north and south, to the Brother Islands, the reefs of St Johns and the Marine Park. Depending on the tour, the vessel starts from either Hurghada or Marsa Alam.

The 34 meter (112 feet) long Sea Serpent accommodates its guests in a total of 10 double cabins, including two suites. The double cabins are fitted with two single beds, the suites are equipped with a double beds. All cabins are also fitted with individually controlled air conditioning, a mini bar, bathrobes and towels.

The air-conditioned dining room is separate from the saloon and is a good meeting place that offers guests plenty of entertainment options such as TV and DVD/CD players. There's also a small library. The food is served buffet style with local specialties as well as European cuisine too. On the four decks, guests will find plenty of space, where they can choose to either relax in the sun or shade. A large dive deck is not missing either. The electronic equipment and the safety standards of the vessel are state of the art.

Multiple dives are on offer each day either off the large dive deck, or off one of the two small dinghies (Zodiacs). Divers should be a bit more experienced to participate in these dive safaris. Nitrox is available on board board. They have 12-liter Aluminium tanks INT and also with DIN connection are available.

The off shore Marine Park islands, The Brothers, Daedalus, Rocky Islands and Zabargad Islands, are the highlights of the Red Sea. The Brother Islands, two outer reefs rising from great depths, are one of the world's best dive sites. Steep walls, covered by stunning soft corals of all colours, black and fan corals, two wrecks, pelagic fish and schools of fish will excite any diver. With some luck you?ll meet thresher sharks, grey reef sharks, hammer head, oceanic white tip sharks and mantas. The trip in stormy weather may be somewhat rough, but the diving makes up for the effort.

Another sure winner for world-class diving is close to the Daedalus Islands, where especially in summer you are very likely to encounter pelagics, and be prepared to meet schools of hammer head sharks!
Excellent and almost unspoilt dive sites are in the areas of Rocky Island and Zabargad Island. All those sites are teaming with schools of tropical fish and promise lots of big fish action. Much further south, St John is a collection of small reefs offering all the beauty of the Red Sea with breathtaking reefs covered with hard corals and soft corals in all colours. Add the possibility to spot a wide variety of pelagics, big fish, Dolphins and diving through a labyrinth of caves.

The North offers very good to spectacular wreck diving. The Thistlegorm is a must dive, you cannot miss this one! She holds plenty cargo like motorcycles, locomotives and war goods - a really unique dive. The wrecks of Abu Shaab Nuhas are also worth a visit. Dives in the Tiran Strait complete the tours in the north.

This luxury ship offers a lot of comfort. Thanks to good design and the large dive deck, and great maintenance, even the most demanding divers will be very happy with choosing the Sea Serpent.
