Maluku Divers Resort in Laha is one of the must visit locations in any diver’s Indonesian dive list. The only dedicated dive resort in Ambon, the facility was built specifically with divers in mind and boasts the most unique and comfortable accommodations in the whole of Maluku. The resort is located on the waterfront surrounded by mature mango trees which offer both shade and a tranquil ambience.
This small and cozy dive resort is located just 10 minutes from Ambon Airport. Four Indonesian domestic airlines offer daily flights from Jakarta and two from Bali. In addition to these, Ambon can also be reached with regular scheduled flights from Manado and Sorong.
Facilities and accommodation
The resort features 10 bright and airy bungalows. Each individual bungalow is over 60 square meters, with private bathroom, hot water, air conditioning and a large covered private wooden terrace. Each bungalow also has the unique feature of individual editing desks for each diver.
The restaurant, bar and kitchen are situated in a traditional roof beachfront complex, with an open patio from where divers can enjoy meals and drinks beneath the stars. The restaurant offers 3 delicious meals daily. The cuisine is mostly local and is served in buffet style. The occasional BBQ's are held at dinner time. Afternoon snacks are served as well and the bar offers cool drinks. Throughout the day, complimentary tea, coffee and water is available.
The dive center is located at the resort. It features a large communal camera room, pre and post dive lounge, camera tables, dive equipment area, showers and camera rinse tanks.

This is a great little dive resort, purpose built for passionate divers and underwater photographers, offering superior levels of accommodation and excellent dive facilities in Ambon. It is a great muck diving mecca!
A stay at Maluku Divers can easily be combined with a Raja Ampat liveaboard or land-based diving holiday.
Single occupancy surcharge of 50% applies for guaranteed single room. If single divers are willing to share a room, the resort will attempt to find a single diver of the same gender to share with them. If they cannot find a same gender diver, but the diver is willing to share, the resort does not charge a supplement and the diver may get the room to themselves at no additional cost.
