The 40 metre (131 ft) S/Y Palau Siren will be the newest member of the Siren fleet, when she launches in Dec 2012. She has the same specifications as her sister yachts, the S/Y Philippine Siren and the S/ Y Indo Siren. She is currently under construction on the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi. Like the other Siren yachts it is a traditional Phinisi schooner, handcrafted from ironwood and teak. Built by divers for divers, every need has been thought of and is being implemented.

Up to 16 guests are welcome aboard each trip. There is abundant space for all guests. The Palau Siren has a spacious air-conditioned saloon with cocktail bar, coffee machine, 42 inch flatscreen & computer server supporting the inter-cabin network, TV / DVD, PC, small library and cosy sitting area. The dining area in the saloon is very spacious. Additionally there is a covered outdoor dining area. You find a nice shady resting area at the bow of the vessel and on top of the salon is a sundeck with lounge chairs. Palau Siren uses latest technical and electronic equipment. They have sea kayaks available which will be a bonus to explore some of the remote beaches on Palau's mushroom islands. On board laundry and massage service are available for a small fee.

The cabins offer flexibility and can be used as twin or double bedded rooms. Palau Siren has 8 large air-conditioned cabins each with their own PC, audio-visual entertainment system and ensuite bathrooms. Each cabin is fitted with an individual computer and multiple power sources to facilitate the needs of digital photography. The computer features high end specifications and 20” high definition flat screens, which are integrated with the yachts network server in the saloon.

All cabins are lavished with luxury extra’s including bathrobes, hair dryers, towels, individually controlled mood lighting and individual controls for your air-conditioning unit. Each cabin has a port hole. Each of the two largest cabins is equipped with three equal-sized single beds. If required, three guests can share one of these huge cabins.

Diving is offered in small groups of up to 6 divers, but of course guests are welcome to dive in buddy pairs if they prefer. Dive time is usually limited to 1 hour. Up to four dives are offered each day. Palau Siren has 2 high-powered Zodiacs available for divers. The dive deck offers lot’s of space for all divers and a designated area for underwater photographers and videographers. Charging points for cameras and batteries and a purpose-built basin to wash the camera are available. Each cabin has its own PC where you can download your photos.

The Palau Siren has tanks that can take either DIN or Yoke regulators. Nitrox is free for Nitrox certified divers. Nitrox courses are available if you wish to obtain certification.
