British Columbia
British Columbia has an area of 948,596 sq km (366.254 sq miles), making it the third largest province in Canada. British Columbia (BC) is the most popular destination in Canada for a reason. Especially the variety of landscape makes this province so popular. Endless kilometres of coastline with breathtaking views, countless islands and coves, the endless mountain ranges of the Rocky Mountains and the Coast are stunning.
The Pacific coast is lined with countless, unique rainforests. British Columbia provides all climate zones; eternal ice of the glaciers, rainforest climate in the coastal region and temperate climate in the interior. But British Columbia has also desert climate in the southern part, where even cactuses grow. World British Columbia offers an unmatched and untamed nature experience. But cities such as Vancouver and Victoria are worth a visit too for sure.

Alaska
Alaska, the largest and northernmost state in the U.S., is scarcely populated. The vastness and solitude, which can be found here, is overwhelming. In more than 100 state parks one can experience the untouched wilderness of this area. Alaska is a land with 5000 glaciers, 3000 rivers, waterfalls, fjords, forests, steppes, meadows, and 3 million lakes.

Mount McKinley with its 6190 m (20.308 feet) is the highest peak in North America. The fauna is very diverse. In the vast forests and tundra live moose, musk oxen, caribou, wolves and bears. On the coasts you can watch whales, porpoises and sea lions. Among the 400 species of birds that exist in Alaska, the bald eagle is probably the most impressive. The largest city is Anchorage, with around 225,000 inhabitants.
