Diving in British Columbia and Alaska is unique, diverse, very rich and colourful. There are giant sea stars, kelp, many nudibranchs, colourful anemones, large pacific octopus, sea bass and sometimes even seen sea lions. Sightings of humpback whales, dolphins and killer whales at the surface are not only possible but belong to fix almost every safari.

Diving is possible all year round but the best time for diving is in spring until the end of May and then again in August. The trips are available from mid-March to mid-September. The water temperatures are between 5° and 10°C (41°-50°F) and the mean is approximately 8°C (46°F). One has to be experienced with drysuits diving. The visibilitiy is 3-25 meters (10-82 ft). Mostly the water is clear but rearely visibility may be effected by plankton bloom.
