Atlantis Dumaguete Dive Centre is a 5 Star PADI Career Development Centre, one of only few dive centers with such a rating in the region. You will find the highest standard of dive education, first class facilities and world class dive guides.

Dive Service
Diving is very flexible with local dives offerd at 9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm (night dives available every day). Choice of dive site each time and small groups (no more than 6 people). Day Trips to Apo Island, Balicasag, Siquijor and Sumilon (Dumaguete) are offered as well as day trips (three tank days).

Camera Room
Dumaguete Resort has one of the most spacious Camera Facilities you will find in any dive resort worldwide. There are 21 individual cubbyholes to store equipment, a work surface 80cm deep and a total of nearly 14m long and floor space of over 21 square meters.
Five air-guns are positioned around the room, 16 sets of power sockets in both 220 and 110 volts, paper towel dispensers for cleaning O-Rings, a shelf running the length of the work surface for battery chargers and eight fluorescent under-shelf lights for additional illumination for the all important O-Ring check. The room is climate controlled for comfortable working conditions and also has a 42-inch HD flat-screen TV mounted on the wall with both HDMI and USB connections. Guest can now show off their photos and video on the big screen at the end of a days great diving!
Fluro Night Dives
Using a special filtered blue light and a yellow mask visor you will see:
•Corals and Anemones stand out in neon colours
•Lizardfish and Spearer Mantis Shrimp glow an eerie green colour
•Scorpionfish emit a redish-purple luminance
•Hermit Crabs appear illuminated from within
•Seagrass take on a reddish-hue
•Nudibranchs glow like they have been plugged into the mains
Night diving using 'blue light' is a whole new unique experience where you can witness first hand the magic of fluorescence!
Dive sites
The reefs of Atlantis Resort are home to more than 3000 species of fish and 448 species of coral. Combine unbelievable muck-diving with pretty coral reefs and shoals of schooling fish. The largely intact underwater world around Negros attracts divers and snorkelers. The dive sites are accessible all year around, and good to excellent visibility with generally low to medium currents can be expected.
Highlights are the dive sites around Apo Island with intact coral formations that offer varied diving in shallow coral gardens and beautifully vegetated cliffs. Interesting underwater landscapes with sea fans, soft corals and feather stars provide a home for many colourful nudibranchs, moray eels, frogfish, anemone fish and sea snakes. Spotted mackerel and other schooling fish can be seen all around Apo. Another protected dive site which offers an abundance of fish is Masoplod.
