Dive service
The dive boats are traditional Filipino "Bangkas", one of the most stable boats ever built and the ideal boat to directly dock on the beach under all weather conditions. It has a capacity of up to 10 divers plus crew, but most of the time they only assign 6 divers together with one of their experienced dive masters.
The dive shop is well equipped, rental dive equipment is available in different sizes. They have 12 litres aluminium tanks with INT/DIN connections (15 litres tanks are available upon request). Nitrox is available at extra cost. They offer unlimited diving (up to 4 dives a day). The dive shop is a PADI Dive Center, which offers dive training from Beginner to Dive Master.
Next to the dive shop is a dedicated camera room which is offering plenty of space for the guests' precious camera gear. Enjoy this state of the art camera room, with 18 individual work stations with matted desks/shelves, outlets, lockers, air guns and lights. A matted centre table with 8 lockers is provided for additional guests. You will also find that 4 rinse tubs are fully matted specifically to protect your cameras.
Dive area
Anilao has over 35 dive sites, 18 of these are close to the resort, but all are located within a 1 to 30 minutes boat ride.
Anilao offers an amazing range of underwater marine life. Macro enthusiasts and photographers will be marvelled by its biodiversity. Marine life such as frog fish, pygmy seahorses, rhinopias, a huge variety of nudibranches, octopuses (like the amazing wonderpus and mimik octopuses) cuttlefish and lots more can be found here. On top of this, plenty of small and juvenile reef fish, but Anilao has not a lot of larger fish or pelagic action. Occasionally, with some luck one can even see a whaleshark or manta while diving in Anilao. The variety of hard and soft corals is impressive as well. Anilao offers a huge variety from reef to muck diving.
