Taveuni Dive Resort is located on the Garden Island of Taveuni, just a short flight from Nadi and just across the famous Somosomo Strait on Rainbow Reef. The resort is designed for divers by divers. Its location is only a 20 minute drive from Matei Airport through beautiful tropical landscapes on one side and the brilliant blue waters on the other.
There are 8 bures for max. 16 guests at Taveuni Dive Resort. For groups, a max. capacity of 24 guests can be achieved by going from double to triple occupancy. All 8 bures have king or twin beds, private ensuite, minibar, ceiling fans, and modern louvre windows with insect mesh screens to let the nice cool breeze flow through the room, and private decks with garden and ocean views. The resort is run on solar power.
The Salty Fox Restaurant & Bar is located on the premises. It includes social areas for divers to share their dive experiences. A fully cooked breakfast, 2-course lunch and 3-course dinner are part of the resort's meal plan. There is a broad selection of meals to choose from. The food is mostly organic, fresh and locally grown.
The Taveuni Dive Resort is the only accommodation on the island located adjacent to the island’s nine-hole golf course and tennis courts (at Soqulu Country Club). A resort pool is available for relaxing, sunbathing and practicing confined water skills. Guests can purchase food and groceries in shops part of the Taveuni Estates. Water activities and shore excursions are available for guests not participating in the day’s diving activities.
The marina, where Taveuni Dive's boats are moored, is just a short 5 min. stroll from the resort. The famous Rainbow Reef is only a short 15 min. boat ride from the marina.
Getting to Taveuni
Your international flight into Fiji will take you into Nadi on Fiji's main island of Viti Levu. From there daily domestic flights take you to Taveuni's Matei Airport. For those already in Fiji daily flights also operate between Suva and Taveuni. Taveuni Dive Resort is located a scenic 20 minute drive from the airport. There's only one sealed road on Taveuni covering about 75% of the island!
