Our trip was great!!! The resort is beautiful. The bungalows are nice and well maintained. The staff is professional and very very friendly. Marco the manager was the best. My husband forgot to bring his blood pressure pills and Marco had someone go into the town and get him some.
The food was good and we were given choices to select from. The dining is beach front which is amazing. Each of the servers knew us by name!!!! My kids were so impressed. Actually all the hotel stuff knew our name. Such a nice touch.
The diving facility is first rate. Our dive maste, Warfi, was very good. We never did five dives in a day but thought it was unbelievable that we could if we wanted to. I can't say enough good stuff about all those involved in a diving.
I do have to say the diving isn't what we like. Muck diving isn't our thing. We did see lots of beautiful fish and cuttle fish (which for whatever reason my family loves) and turtles and frog fish. One day they took us to Apo Island. That was amazing diving!!! We loved it there. We did a wall dive and it was spectacular. We saw lots of sea snakes. We also did a drift dive that was so fun.
Our day trip to Oslob to see the whale sharks was amazing too. WOW. To swim with the whale Sharks was a dream come true. My son heard about a waterfall close by and, after getting permission from Marco, we had a little excursion there. So fun. I liked that they were flexible with us.
My family had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend having someone stay at the Atlantis in Dumaguette.
