Location
The resort is idyllically situated on a tributary of the Sepilok River surrounded by tropical rainforest.
In the immediate vicinity is the world's largest breeding center for orang utans. The resort is about 30 minutes drive away from Sandakan airport.
Accommodation & Facilities
All 23 individual chalets are tastefully decorated and equipped with ensuite bathroom (shower & bathtub), air conditioning, ceiling fan and private balcony. Other room amenities are coffee and tea making facilities, mini rattan shelf with hangers, basic toiletries, bath towels and 220V electrical outlets (British 3 pin socket). In the main building of the resort are the restaurant with a large terrace, the reception and a small shop.
From here you can visit the Orang Utan breeding station. There are also daily guided tours through the tropical rainforest.
