Batu Sandar means Leaning Rock - which is a dive site around a pinnacle that leans above the water. This site originally had a small rock leaning against the big pinnacle, but the small rock is no longer in the same place. Probably the best snorkeling site, this is a finger of coral which extends out into the Strait down to 20 meters on a white sand slope. Sheltered shallows have excellent soft coral and sponge growth and the deeper sand flats has many scattered coral bommies.
