This dive site forms part of the rocky substrate that forms Prosper Rock, a small island that is part of the Contreras Archipelago. The Fridge is one huge rock forming a long sharp ridge. The southern side drops to depths out of the limits of recreational diving. Large predators rise out of the deep water to enjoy the abundance of resident and pelagic that frequents this site. Maco, Hammerhead and the Bull Shark, to mention a few, are visitors here. Crossing a deep sand channel to the arches and walls of Prosper Rock. This site has several large cleaning stations which are frequented by Giant Mantas, Turtles and schooling Spade Fish. Schools of Spotted Eagle Rays can be encountered, gliding through the thermocline. This is one of the key reproduction sites of the CNP. Depth Range 20 ft / 6 mts – 130 ft / 40mts.
