Octopus Rock, Coiba

The top of this small island of rocks breaks the surface at low tide. A very shallow descent is required to a garden of hard corals. Dropping down a gradual slope to the transition zone between the rock terraces and sand channel, where we can encounter many marine sponges and soft corals. Certain area of this site are populated with Seahorses and Frog Fish. The over hangs and crevices are habitat for many critters. Take your Macro lenses for this site. There are many Octopus and bottom dwellers. Great Night dive and check out dive site. Depth Range 15 ft / 5mts – 130 ft /40 mts.
