Normally protected from the currents that pass through the channel. This site is an ideal Check Out, Training and Night Dive location. Large sandy areas spotted with jagged pinnacles. The eastern slope terraces down to 150 ft / 44 mts. A typical tour of this site starts at 30 ft / 9 mts, descending to 120 ft / 35 mts to a deeper pinnacle. Coming shallower again to 30 ft / 9 mts and safety stop level. Schooling Rays are common here, as are schools of Big Eyed Jacks and Pacific Spade Fish. An abundance of marine sponges and soft corals on this site, habitat for Seahorse and Frog Fish and great variation of critters! Depth Range 15 ft / 5mts – 130 ft /40 mts.
