Ras Cathy, Naama Bay

Ras Cathy lies a few hundred meters west of the Temple. Several coral pinnacles rise on the sandy plateau, from 5 meters to 18 meters, where the drop off begins. Here you can find some gorgonian fans covered with glassfish. The pinnacles are home to countless schools of anthias and many species of butterfly fish. Little caves and crevices are inhabited by glassfish and lionfish. On the sandy areas you can observe crocodilefish, bluespotted stingrays, scorpionfish and triggerfish.
